It is with great confidence, expectation, and enthusiasm that we announce our executive chef for La Provence, Chef Abde Dahrouch. Chef Abde has brought our first restaurant, Vida & Comida, to soaring heights and we are so proud to launch La Provence, classical yet modern, and steeped in French grandeur, with Chef Abde at the helm. Born in Morocco and raised in France, Chef Abde Dahrouch is a world-class chef who achieved great success throughout his long culinary career. Trained in a small restaurant near Toulouse, France, Dahrouch only works with the finest ingredients, choosing to source locally. During his nine years at the helm of Pond in Radnor he won many accolades, including three bells by Craig LaBan and “Best of the Main Line” four years in a row. Before coming to Ambler, he was the chef at Taquet in the Wayne Hotel, was Chef and part-owner at La Terraza in Miami, FL, and executive chef at A La Maison in Ardmore. Using the freshest ingredients ensures his delicious French dishes are loved and enjoyed by all.

Pleased with the response of the Ambler and surrounding communities to Vida & Comida, their first restaurant in the Philadelphia area, Cindy and Chef Manuel present La Provence, a world-class French restaurant complete with classical inspiration and modern highlights. Chef Manuel has a strong background in the fine-dining of various regions known for exquisite food and wine. His repertoire includes having owned restaurants in Spain and Puerto Rico and studying abroad at the Hôtel Montpelier in Switzerland, the epicenter of haute-cuisine and food knowledge. Locally, Chef Manuel was the executive chef at Ristorante San Marco in Springhouse for over 12 years and he is excited to oversee the kitchen operations and bring his invaluable experience to the kitchen of La Provence in a creative, organizing role.

Patrons who have had the pleasure of dining at Vida & Comida know that, in the front of the house, Cindy’s majestic touch permeates. At La Provence, expect the same resplendent atmosphere and service nonpareil for an unforgettable dining experience. Often seen mingling and checking to make sure each guest's experience is perfect, Cindy tirelessly leads service with enthusiasm and camaraderie with a discerning and meticulous eye.

Management:
               Timothy Judge

Also part of the management team helping Cindy to lead the front of the house staff is Timothy Judge, who has over 20 years’ experience in the restaurant industry. Tim has been with Vida & Comida since before day 1 and has found that working with Cindy, and Chefs Manuel and Abde, to be eminently rewarding. Tim is passionate about upscale food and fine-dining service and his true pleasure is in ensuring an extraordinary dining experience for each and every guest, each and every time. Tim is grateful for the opportunities already afforded to him working at Vida & Comida and looks forward to this next endeavor at La Provence.
